I have got Windows XP and Windows 98SE as guests running under Fedora 10 in virtualbox. Everything I neeed is running but windows 98SE is very very slow.
I have installed Rain2.0 but it says it can not find the CPU. It not seem to make any difference to the running of Windows 98SE.
I installed Scitech Display Doctor 7 Beta and that seems to have got the graphics running with better resolutions. I read some where that Scitech Display driver 7 Beta is free ware but it seems to have a 21 day restriction.
Does any one know how to lift the 21 day restriction? the link I found on the web to I think it was codes on the Sciteck site just come up 'not found'
Finally does any one know how to speed up windows 98SE running under Virtual box.
I have the latest version of Virtual box (64 bit) installed. Fedora 10 64 bit
AMD dual core processor, 2 Gb ram, 2 GB vitual drive, 24 mB video and 124MN memeory for windows 98 ASUS mother board.
I would be grateful for any ideas as I have two windows 98SE software programs I need. Both of which I can not get linux or other windows versions for and they are a must have for me.
Thanks
